We are recruiting on behalf of our VIP well established client in Milton Keynes for a Transport Clerk.

Day Shift 4 on 4 off 7:00am - 19:00pm

Your job role will include greeting all contractor vehicles and making sure they are compliant with site and additional legal regulations. You will then allocate and direct them to their ultimate destination on site. You will also need to complete administrative duties related to the recording of details and data of all Visitors and Contractors

Role requirements:

· Must have transport experience

o Dealing with drivers – briefing & debriefing

§ POD control

o Compliance knowledge

§ Maintenance

§ Drivers hours law

§ WTD

· Geographical awareness

· Transport system knowledge

· Able to work on own & as part of team

· Interact with drivers, warehouse, office colleagues & customers

· Operate in a fast paced changing environment

Generally all round experienced traffic operator

Skills, experience & qualifications:

Friendly, can do attitude

Customer focus

Previous Transport experience and general understanding of industry requirements
